Links and aggregate counts

Links shared on LinkedIn, in a résumé, in an email signature, or at a networking event may include a source label. That label can remain in the address as you follow links within this website. It identifies the link you used, not you personally.

The custom source report stores daily counts of short-link opens and successful contact submissions by source. It does not store names, email addresses, message text, IP addresses, or browser identifiers. This reporting does not use cookies, local storage, fingerprinting, or identity-matching services.

If you return using an untagged address, no previous source is remembered. You can use the home page without source labels. Requests with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled are excluded from custom source counting.

Contact messages

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to Michael so he can respond. If your current page contains a recognized source label, that label is included in the inquiry email and aggregate source count. The label is not used to build a browsing profile.

Hosting and spam protection

Cloudflare provides hosting, access protection, and the contact form’s spam check. These services may process technical request information for delivery and security. Their operation is separate from the custom source report described above.
