At Ventech Solutions, led financial and delivery performance across a $50M+ federal contract portfolio and $10M+ annual operating budget.

DCMA MOCAS legacy-system analysis

Led reverse engineering and documentation of a long-established COBOL/MANTIS system to establish its technical and business rules.

Delivery & outcomes

  • Documented a system spanning approximately 950 screen maps, 340 database tables, 1,000+ table views, nearly 5,000 batch jobs, 650+ interfaces, 300 reports, and more than two million lines of code.
  • Extracted business and technical rules from front-end interfaces to support assessment of the existing system.

Led contract onboarding and continuing operations for a federal mainframe program.

Delivery & outcomes

  • Retained the majority of incumbent staff during transition.

Led consolidation and modernization of five applications supporting small-business research programs.

Led the kickoff of a legacy modernization effort within an organization with more than 100 legacy applications.

AFRL enterprise service-desk improvement

Improved service support, operational reporting, and asset accountability for AFRL Enterprise Business System operations.

Delivery & outcomes

  • Migrated service tracking from Track-IT to BMC Remedy without downtime.
  • Established after-hours on-call processes and a knowledge base to support first-call resolution.
  • Expanded management reporting and created asset tracking; support spanned 75 Tier 1 delivery staff and approximately 12,000 Tier 2 and Tier 3 users.

AFRL infrastructure migration and resilience

Led server-support projects covering data-center migration, virtualization, and disaster recovery.

Delivery & outcomes

  • Coordinated migration of servers, storage, networking, and database clusters.
  • Transitioned physical infrastructure to VMware clusters, improving resource efficiency and recovery options.
  • Updated disaster-recovery planning to reflect infrastructure changes and a geographically remote warm site.
